Mr. Doung Chamroeun
Director, Assurance, PricewaterhouseCoopers (Cambodia) Ltd.
Mr. Chamroeun has more than 16 years of experience as an auditor at PwC Cambodia. He is also involved in the firm’s Corporate Reporting Services (CRS) function, providing accounting advisory and consulting services to companies seeking professional accounting guidance.
Education and qualifications:
Mr. Chea Hongchhay
Director, Assurance, PricewaterhouseCoopers (Cambodia) Ltd.
Mr. Hongchhay has more than 13 years’ experience in Assurance, specialising in financial statement audits, corporate reporting services (CRS), and credit risk advisory across banking, microfinance, manufacturing, retail, hospitality, energy, and other sectors.
He leads PwC Cambodia’s credit risk professionals, including data analysts, and heads the firm’s digital upskilling task force and sustainability reporting initiative. This includes Net Zero data reporting for PwC Cambodia within the global PwC network.
Mr. Hongchhay delivers CIFRS conversion projects for banks and microfinance
deposit-taking institutions (MDIs), CIFRS for SMEs conversion projects, and provides advice on regulations and guidelines in banking sector.
He develops, audits, and validates expected credit loss (ECL) models for banks and MDIs, provides technical accounting advice, and carries out technical reviews of financial statements. He also brings eight years’ experience delivering training to banks and corporates on CIFRS and ECL.
