The event was presided over by Mrs. Savuth Daly, CEO of the Kampuchea Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Auditors (KICPAA), and Mr. Sun Setha, Rector of Asia Euro University, to strengthen the understanding of the accounting and promote the value of professional accounting education.
The orientation received strong interest and active participation from the students. During the session, students were introduced to the Accounting Technician Qualification (ATQ) program and its role as the first step toward becoming a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Cambodia. In addition, students were encouraged to register for the ATQ examinations and explored the KICPAA app, which provides learning resources to support their studies and professional development.
Furthermore, students gained an understanding of the Career Support System (CSS), a platform developed by KICPAA to connect student members with member firms for internship and employment opportunities. Students were encouraged to create and upload their CVs to the (CSS) platform, enabling firms to identify suitable candidates for internships and job placements.
The event concluded at 11:10 a.m. on the same day in a fruitful and friendly atmosphere, providing students with valuable insights into professional accounting qualifications and career development opportunities in the accounting profession.
