The Kampuchea Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Auditors (KICPAA), with the support of PricewaterhouseCoopers (Cambodia) Ltd., successfully conducted a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Webinar on the topic “Preparation for the Implementation of CIFRS 18 – Presentation and Disclosure in Financial Statements” on Wednesday, 30 September 2026, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM via Zoom Meeting.

The webinar featured presentations and insights shared by our distinguished speakers, Mr. Doung Chamroeun and Mr. Chea Hongchhay, on:

• The key changes introduced by CIFRS 18 compared to CIAS 1
• The new structure and presentation requirements for financial statements
• Disclosure requirements, including Management-defined Performance Measures (MPMs)
• The transition requirements for first-time adoption
• Addressing practical challenges through an interactive Q&A session.

 The webinar attracted 676 participants, including KICPAA members, accountants, auditors, chief financial officers, financial controllers, and financial managers.

 This CPD activity reflects KICPAA’s continued commitment to supporting professional accountants by providing practical learning opportunities that enhance technical knowledge and strengthen professional competencies, and keep members up to date with the latest digital developments.
