The Kampuchea Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Auditors (KICPAA), in collaboration with Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia (SERC), successfully conducted a webinar on the topic “Update on the accreditation of firm providing auditing service with Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia” on Friday, 14 August 2026, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM via Zoom Meeting.

The webinar featured an insightful presentation by Mr. Tann Channtara, Deputy Director of Securities Issuance Supervision Department of the Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia, who shared valuable expertise on the latest SERC requirements is essential for firms seeking to provide or continue providing audit services within Cambodia’s securities sector.

During the session, participants gained valuable knowledge on:

•  Understand the legal and regulatory framework governing accounting and auditing in Cambodia’s securities market.
• Navigate the accreditation requirements for audit firms and external auditors seeking recognition by the SERC.
• Strengthen your understanding of auditors’ roles, responsibilities, obligations
•  Addressing practical challenges through an interactive Q&A session

The webinar attracted 253 participants, including KICPAA members, partners, and directors, audit managers, compliance officers, internal auditors, students, and professionals interested in regulatory compliance.
