The Kampuchea Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Auditors (KICPAA), in collaboration with the Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia (SERC), successfully conducted a Webinar on “Current Status of the Cambodia’s Securities Market” on Friday, 5 June 2026, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM via Zoom Meeting.

The webinar featured an in-depth by the distinguished speaker, Ms. Sorn Sonita, Deputy Head of Division of SERC. She shared valuable insights on:

·      Understanding the current status of Cambodia’s securities market

·      Exploring various financial instruments and emerging trends in the market

·      Recognizing the important role of the securities market in capital mobilization and national economic growth

·      Addressing practical questions through an interactive Q&A session

The webinar attracted 198 participants, including KICPAA members, investors, finance and accounting professionals, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), students, and individuals interested in the securities market.

This webinar played a vital role in providing the latest updates to strengthen the understanding of regulations and elevate professional accounting and auditing standards in Cambodia.
