Regional Council Meeting: 141st ASEAN Federation of Accountants (AFA) Council Meeting

October 31, 2025, Mr. Khun Darith, President of KICPAA, Mr. Neou Remy, Vice President of KICPAA, and Mrs. Savuth Daly, Executive Director of KICPAA attended the 141st ASEAN Federation of Accountants (AFA) Council Meeting hosted by the National Convention Center, Hanoi, Vietnam. At this meeting, Mr. Neou Remy, Vice President of KICPAA, attended in person as the representative of Cambodia. The meeting was organized by the Vietnam Association of Accountants and Auditors (VAA) with the aim of strengthening ASEAN cooperation and promoting transparency, accountability, and sustainable development for the future of the accounting profession.

The meeting concluded successfully, reinforcing collaboration and advancing the accounting profession across ASEAN. KICPAA extends its sincere appreciation to the Vietnam Association of Accountants and Auditors (VAA) for organizing this meaningful and valuable event.

 

Induction Course

On October 31, 2025, the Kampuchea Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Auditors (KICPAA) organized the sixth Induction Course at the KICPAA Meeting Room for 12 new members in 2025. The purpose of this training is to introduce the understanding of the Institute, its membership, and obligations, the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) policy, Accounting Technician Qualification (ATQ) program to members, and especially to congratulate the new members. As a result of this training, all the new members who participated were proud to be members of KICPAA and committed to participate in additional self-development on a regular basis with various training courses organized by KICPAA. The program ended with fruitfulness, joy, and networking.

The Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program on “Audit Practice Manual (APM)”

On Monday & Tuesday, 27–28 October 2025, the Kampuchea Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Auditors (KICPAA) hosted a successful workshop on “Audit Practice Manual (APM)” at the Himawari Hotel Apartments. The workshop was a part of the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program, specifically aimed at enhancing the capacity and effectiveness of KICPAA members in conducting audit engagements.

As a result, a total of 45 participants expressed their appreciation and gave highly positive feedback on the two-day workshop.

សិក្ខាសាលាផ្សព្វផ្សាយ “ច្បាប់ស្តីពីគណនេយ្យនិងសវនកម្ម និងបទប្បញ្ញត្តិពាក់ព័ន្ធ”

នៅព្រឹកថ្ងៃអង្គារ ៧កើត ខែកត្តិក ឆ្នាំម្សាញ់ សប្តស័ក ព.ស. ២៥៦៩ ត្រូវនឹងថ្ងៃទី២៨ ខែតុលា គ.ស. ២០២៥ នៅសាកលវិទ្យាល័យវេស្ទើន លោកស្រី សាវុធ ដាលី នាយកប្រតិបត្តិនៃវិទ្យាស្ថានគណនេយ្យករជំនាញនិងសវនករកម្ពុជា (វ.គ.ស.ក.) និងមន្រ្តីជំនាញនៃ វ.គ.ស.ក. បានអញ្ជើញចូលរួម នឹងធ្វើបទបង្ហាញអំពី វិជ្ជាជីវៈគណនេយ្យនៅកម្ពុជា ក្នុងកម្មវិធីសិក្ខាសាលាផ្សព្វផ្សាយ “ច្បាប់ស្តីពីគណនេយ្យនិងសវនកម្ម និងបទប្បញ្ញត្តិពាក់ព័ន្ធ” ជូនសាស្រ្តាចារ្យ និងនិស្សិតនៃសាកលវិទ្យាល័យវេស្ទើន ក្រោមអធិបតីភាព លោកស្រី នាន បូនី អគ្គនាយករងនៃនិយ័តករគណនេយ្យនិងសវនកម្ម តំណាងដ៏ខ្ពង់ខ្ពស់ ឯកឧត្តម ប៊ូ ថារិន អគ្គនាយកនៃនិយ័តករគណនេយ្យនិងសវនកម្ម និងលោក អុឹម សារ៉ាវុធ សាកលវិទ្យាធិការរង នៃសាកលវិទ្យាល័យវេស្ទើន។

សិក្ខាសាលានេះរៀបចំឡើងដើម្បីបញ្រ្ជាបការយល់ដឹងបន្ថែមនូវការអនុវត្តកាតព្វកិច្ចជាសារវន្តចំនួនបីរួមមាន៖

១. ការកាន់បញ្ជីគណនេយ្យបានត្រឹមត្រូវ

២. ការរៀបចំរបាយការណ៍ហិរញ្ញវត្ថុស្របតាមស្តង់ដាគណនេយ្យ និង

៣. ការដាក់របាយការណ៍ហិរញ្ញវត្ថុឱ្យរងសវនកម្មឯករាជ្យអនុលោមតាមច្បាប់ស្តីពីគណនេយ្យនិងសវនកម្ម និងបទប្បញ្ញត្តិជាធរមាន។

សិក្ខាសាលានេះមានការចូលរួមពីថ្នាក់ដឹកនាំ សាស្រ្តាចារ្យ លោកគ្រូ អ្នកគ្រូ មន្រ្តី សិស្ស និងនិស្សិត សរុប១៨០រូប នៅសាលប្រជុំនៃសាកលវិទ្យាល័យវេស្ទើន ។

សិក្ខាសាលាបានបញ្ចប់នៅវេលាម៉ោង ១១និង១០នាទីព្រឹក ប្រកបដោយផ្លែផ្កា និងកិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការខ្ពស់។

Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was held between the Kampuchea Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Auditors (KICPAA) and Samdech Preah Mohasangharajah Bour Kry University (SBKU) on the “The recognition of Samdech Preah Mohasangharajah Bour Kry University as training organization of the Accounting Technician Qualification (ATQ) program”

On the afternoon of Saturday, October 25, 2025, The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was held between the Kampuchea Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Auditors (KICPAA) and Samdech Preah Mohasangharajah Bour Kry University (SBKU) on the “The recognition of Samdech Preah Mohasangharajah Bour Kry University as training organization of the Accounting Technician Qualification (ATQ) program”, highly presided over by Samdech Preah Monkul Tepea Char Vong Aneta, Founder and Rector of Samdech Preah Mohasangharajah Bour Kry University (SBKU) and honored a keynote address on “The Accounting Sector in Cambodia” by H.E. Bou Tharin, Director General of the Accounting and Auditing Regulator.

The event took place at 2:00 p.m. in the meeting room of Samdech Preah Mohasangharajah Bour Kry University (SBKU). This partnership marks a significant step forward in harmonizing accounting education programs and equipping students with the professional skills necessary to become qualified accounting technicians, thereby contributing to the continued development of Cambodia’s accounting and auditing profession.

On October 17, 2025, the Kampuchea Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Auditors (KICPAA) organized the fifth Induction Course at the KICPAA Meeting Room for 6 new members in 2025. The purpose of this training is to introduce the understanding of the Institute, its membership, and obligations, the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) policy, Accounting Technician Qualification (ATQ) program to members, and especially to congratulate the new members. As a result of this training, all the new members who participated were proud to be members of KICPAA and committed to participate in additional self-development on a regular basis with various training courses organized by KICPAA. The program ended with fruitfulness, joy, and networking.

Honored guest to attend the Certificate and Award Presentation Ceremony at ACLEDA University of Business (AUB)

On the morning of Thursday, October 16, 2025, Mrs. Savuth Daly, Executive Director of the Kampuchea Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Auditors (KICPAA), was invited as an honored guest to attend the Certificate and Award Presentation Ceremony at ACLEDA University of Business (AUB). The event was​ organized to celebrate the outstanding students of the university who had successfully completed and passed the ATQ examinations. The event was attended by professors and approximately 250 students, at AUB and concluded on the same day with great success and remarkable achievements.

Student Orientation on “The Understanding of Accounting Technician Qualification (ATQ) program and Careers in Accounting and Auditing in Cambodia”

On 07 October 2025, Kampuchea Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Auditors (KICPAA) and Cambodia Mekong University (CMU) successfully conducted a Student Orientation on “The Understanding of Accounting Technician Qualification (ATQ) program and Careers in Accounting and Auditing in Cambodia” for 158 students at CMU, Phnom Penh. The orientation received a lot of interest from students. It was a fruitful orientation for students in terms of the following:

1. Understanding of the importance of accounting and the accounting profession

2. Understanding of the Accounting Technician Qualification (ATQ) program

3. Encouraging registration for ATQ exams

4. Tips on how to study and get good results in the ATQ exam.

The event ended at 11:10 a.m. on the same day with a very fruitful and happy moment.

The Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program on “IFRS Related to the Construction Sector” 

The Kampuchea Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Auditors (KICPAA), with the support of Allnison Auditing and Consulting Co., Ltd., successfully hosted a webinar on “IFRS Related to the Construction Sector” on the morning of Tuesday, 30 September 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. The session was a part of the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program and was led by our expert speaker, Ms. Eunice Chu, IFRS Instructor.

The workshop was successfully conducted, attracting significant interest and participation from 484 attendees.

The Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program on “Refreshing Accounting for an Accountant on Accounting for Property, Plant and Equipment”

The Kampuchea Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Auditors (KICPAA) held a webinar on “Refreshing Accounting for an Accountant on Accounting for Property, Plant and Equipment” on the morning of Friday, 19 September 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM by our honored speakers, Mr. Say Sokheng, Managing Partner of DFC.

The Webinar is a part of the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program and was successfully conducted with significant excitement and interest by 64 participants.

The Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program on “Generative AI with Prompt Engineering — Unlocking the Next Era of Accounting, Finance, and Productivity” 

The Kampuchea Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Auditors (KICPAA), with the support of Lochan & Co (Cambodia) Company Limited, successfully hosted a webinar on “Generative AI with Prompt Engineering — Unlocking the Next Era of Accounting, Finance, and Productivity” on the morning of Wednesday, 17 September 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. The session was a part of the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program and was led by our expert speaker, Mr. CA Suraj Jain, Senior Consultant of Lochan & Co (Cambodia) Company Limited.

The workshop was successfully conducted, attracting significant interest and participation from354 attendees.

The purpose of this training is to introduce members to the Institute, its membership and obligations, the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) policy, and the Accounting Technician Qualification (ATQ). We also extend our congratulations to the new members. As a result of this training, all the new members who participated were proud to be members of KICPAA and committed to participating in additional self-development on a regular basis with various training courses organized by KICPAA. The program concluded with a sense of fruitfulness, joy, and networking.

The workshop was successfully conducted, attracting significant interest and participation from470 attendees.

The Kampuchea Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Auditors (KICPAA) held a webinar on “Refreshing Accounting for an Accountant on Accounting for Inventory” on the morning of Monday, 8 September 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM by our honored speakers, Mr. Pisey Daung, Associate Partner, Tax & Accounting of DFC.

The Webinar is a part of the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program and was successfully conducted with significant excitement and interest by 78 participants.
